if it's sunday, it's time for scavenger hunt. and yes, that is the case. the prompts for this week are ~
stacked up, winter wonderland, sweet, hole, and frozen. let us begin....
stacked up~
i didn't go very far for this one. stacked coffee cups in my kitchen cupboard.
winter wonderland~
the first time i looked at the prompts for this week i didn't think we'd have any snow. a few days ago mother nature obliged me and we got our first snowfall of the season. when i was driving home the day after the storm i decided to check out the lakefront. the water was my favorite color. just after a storm the water closer to the shore is a combination of blue and sand because of all the sand stirred up by the winds.
sweet~
how about a glass of good-n-plentys leftover from the annual jingle mingle?
hole~
i was a bit stumped with this one. a window is a hole in the wall, right? and two windows = two holes, so double your pleasure. this is one of my favorite sheds - it sits along the road not far from my house. i just like it.
frozen~
up until a few days ago it was hard to find any waters that were iced up. i came across these saplings in the ice while walking around the pond.
that does it for another scavenger hunt. thanks for looking at my photos today. head on over and say hello to Ashley at Ramblings and Photos and take a look at what others found on the hunt. happy sunday everyone. sit long, talk much.
and...for my fellow wisconsinites - GO PACK!!!

your coffee cups made me want to fill one up, sit down and have a Sunday chat with you!!! :(
You nailed it as always. Good and Plenty's are a weakness of mine, there sure wouldn't be any leftover at my house! Love you "hole" shot. Winter wonderland is breathtaking. Stay warm this week!
Big congrats for finally having the snow you have longed for!And yes, the color of the water is wonderful behind the white snow.
I too would love to have a cuppa with you...but I am a complete chicken when it comes to the cold...so I am sharing a cup with you long distance! Love the shots and your descriptions. Thanks, as always, for a great series!
Yeah, what they said! Great shots. The winter scene is especially beautiful.
Charlie says: "Love my good n plenty!" Remember the commercial? He wore an engineer's outfit and shook a box of Good N Plenty to make a locomotive sound.
Wowee...I LOVE that winter wonderland photo!! It's too beautiful for words. Your 'frozen' is also really cool (heh...get it?...cool? Ok. I should stop cracking myself up in someone else's space ;D) And, did you notice? There's actually a hole in one of the windows in 'hole'...so, perfect for the prompt!
Beautiful like alltimes! I love your look for colours and structures! Here we did not have really snow this winter so far. It snowed once ior twice, but melted before it reached ground level. It just got colder today so perhaps there is still a chance?
I could not think of a better winter wonderland shot than what you got. With the lake in the background it's not all white and I like that. Nice to know you too get "stumped" every so often. Neat looking old shed and I wish I could nose around inside. Like Tezzie said, I thought there was a hole in one of the panes also but then thought maybe a relection. As for the Good 'n Plenty, as a kid I would buy a box and end up wondering "Why do I buy these things?" as I did really care for them all that much. I'd rather have a Sugar Daddy. You did good on the frozen. I struggled with it as nothing freezes here. Good post. Now go play in the snow.
I love your teacup picture!! The second one, with the tans and bright blues, makes it look like this should be a tropical beach! I love that one. And what a beautiful, old shed. Love the diagonal lines on the doors, and the varied textures. Good finds this week!
All these photos are lovely, your winter wonderland is particularly beautiful- perfect timing for the snow. I didn't get to SH this week but have enjoyed looking at yours. Have a lovely day.
Beautiful shots, Becky. You are so good with that camera!
Loved your winter wonderland. I'm out on the west coast, so we rarely get snow. Great shots
Hahahaaaa....had to laugh at your "hole in the wall" comment...Yes, I guess they qualify as holes!Hahaaaa
Beautiful shots Girl!!!
hughugs
I just love seeing everyone's responses to the prompts. Terrific!!!
Your series for this week are wonderful. I can't say I have a favorite because I love them all. Good and Plenty, my favorite, great choice.
all of these are wonderful interpretations for SHS!
Winter wonderland would look beautiful printed and hanging on the wall!
Great job - beautiful winter wonderland shot.
I love the shot of the coffee cups!
Go Pack!
Lovely photos...All of them! But my fav is your freezing pic, Gorgeous!
Im cheering for the packers too...please dont tell my dad because hed disown me forever! Haha
Don't let my husband near those Good & Plenty's - they'll be gone in no time! Also, I think there is a hole in one of the shed's windows. I love the colors in the tree/lake shot and the shape of the limbs.
I'm all about the "Go Pack" until we get to the Super Bowl. Should the Pats not make it, I'll say "go Pack" Hope the game is good. No cable. I'll catch the scores tomorrow.
Your stacked up was one of my fave interpretations I saw in the linky today. All those cups for the Jane!
Your winter shot almost makes winter look good to me-pretty image. And I can totally see why you like that shed. Tons of character. As for the frozen-nah...that's just too damn winter depressing for me.
Happy day my dear friend.
Great photographs for the prompts Becky!!
Amazing set of photos! Love your winter shot!
Love all these!!! Your Winter Wonderland is fabulous!!
Great shots. love the saplings in the ice.
Darryl and Ruth :)
Oh those sweet coffee cups, a hot tea with honey for me please...the waterfront...oh Becky, now if I could view that, it would be a HAPPY, what a glorious image, where snow meets water like that! Could you just send me the dish of Good and Plentys, for I would have them gobbled up so fast...no lingering from a jingle mingle here;) Those trees coming out of the icy water are very nice, yet what drives that image over the top is the floating log with that gorgeous Tuscan colour on it. Have a splendid week, drive safe, stay warm~
Your -winter wonderland- looks like a painting! So beautiful! I love the yellow contrasting the colours of the lake. Stunning!
Great shots Becky -- jealous you had some ice and snow for the two "cold" prompts! :)
Becky,
Another beautiful, beautiful photos!!
I especially love the second photo. This is a perfect color to express a winter sea!! I think to take great photos needs strong luck also in many cases. This meeting with the water color, I mean the right time of the meeting, is a kind of "One time, one meeting". I love the composition of the photo, and your sense and the eye as a camerawoman is beyond my words.
Best wishes,
keiko
Stunning shots - I especially love the last one with the trees and log in the water - pure gorgeousness - it looks like a painting!
Brr!
Your stacked up cups are very inviting!
Do you eat Good n Plenty's? Long ago I use to like them, not now...
You sure know how to get out of the house and take photos my dear one...
Love your winter photos.
