scavenger hunt sunday

It's time for Scavenger Hunt Sunday!  This week's prompts are ~ one color, laundry, empty, one dozen, soft

one color~

One of the prompts I struggled with.   The jellyfish is colorless but the tank water is not.    Jellyfish are really difficult to photograph, at least for me.   Every time I see a tank of them I start snapping away because they're just so fascinating.

laundry~

I didn't have a shot for this prompt until last evening.   I was on my way to a pub where a musician friend was playing out when I spied this laundromat.

empty~

An empty field down the road from my house.   The earth is all prepared and ready for spring planting.

one dozen~

I'm not for certain, but my hunch is there are at least a dozen street lights there.   Close enough.

soft~

I got this one last night too - there was one of those kitschy velvet paintings hanging on the wall at the pub.    Velvet/soft.   The subject matter?   I was at a Mexican restaurant/pub.

Well this does it for another week of scavenger hunt.  Thanks for looking at my treasures.   Head on over to Ashley's and check out what other people found.    Happy Sunday everyone.

What wonderful finds Ms. Becky. I think I like the empty field best. It looks so peaceful.

Fabulous scavenging!!! Your jellyfish is perfectly captured...and I'm in love with your empty field; such a STUNNING shot! And, that 'soft' made me chuckle...I'm glad you explained what it was, since the motif certainly didn't say 'soft' to me ;) Great job!!!

I think only you and I and one other person went with the laundromat. You hit a home run with the color one. Awesome photo. The empty and dozen photos are pure Ms. Becky shots. Now that soft one...I'll stop while I am ahead. (:^)

OMG....I love this series. And to think you didn't have "the stuff" for it. Bah!! You're full of it. I love them all, my least fave being soft-the rest are all breath-taking. Lines, lines, lines my friend. You're rocking them out.
PS...I took a laundrymat shot yesterday-not good-yours is brilliant.

Great set. Empty is amazing, and the laundermat was genius. Your soft makes me laugh, at least it wasn't Elvis!

Great find for laundry! LOVE your empty! So pretty. We go to a Mexican restaurant that has a very similar scene done in tile.

These are wonderful! I love jellyfish; they are so ethereally beautiful it's hard to believe they are actual living beings. You've captured it perfectly. The laundromat photograph is the standout for me this time. It brings to mind the paintings of Edward Hopper.
