Sunday morning round-up for scavenger hunt - let the fun begin. This week's prompts are ~ what is it?, fur babies/children sleeping, joy, window, and half.
what is it? ~
Ha! you may think you know what this is, but I bet you don't. Is it the handle on a gate? Looks like it, no? Well, guess again. I'll keep you guessing until the end of the post. Tee hee. It's the imp in me...
fur babies/children sleeping ~
Daiseymae asleep on my pillow. She's my baby - no expensive college education to save for, no disposable diapers to fill up land-fills (organic pellets for litter), and no carpooling to soccer games! Who could ask for anything more I tell you? Alright, children have their charms too, but I have none, so I'm happy with what I do have.
joy ~
window ~
Yet another window in Racine.
half ~
The zen photo of the day. Half Lake Michigan, half sky, and the mystery of where one begins and the other ends.
well that's it for scavenger hunt this week. thanks for taking a look at my finds. Head on over to see Ashley at Ramblings and Photos to check out what everyone else found. You'll be glad you did. Happy Sunday everyone. Sit long, talk much.
* what is it? the bottom post of an ornate, outdoor stair railing. I was captivated by its handcrafted beauty. The steps themselves were wooden, but the railing went all the way to the second floor of the brick building. I've forgotten the precise location of this in Racine, and if I had to find it again, I could not. At least not without wandering around the city for a couple of hours...

i do like your railing. and your 'child' too. (my sentiments exactly!)
love your 'half' photo. so peaceful.
Love the railing, but my favorite is Half. Beautiful!
Believe it or not, I guessed stair railing. Love your half shot and the kitty is precious. Have a gloriou! week1
I love that first shot of yours...the curvature is just beautiful. But I adore that last capture...so serene, ahhhhhhh. Have a great holiday!
Kathy
I look at the railing and think of the countless hands that have past over it over the years polishing it to it's present beauty. Great detail. As for Daiseymae, there was no doubt where you would go with that one as you can well imagine where I went with it on my post. I love the half shot. So much beauty in it unlike mine which is the total opposite. A big WOW for it! Great selection all Becky.
I love all your pics...the railing is wonderful, great find. Love the kitty pic, so sweet, and the window is gorgeous along with that stunning Lake Michigan photo and the beautiful stain glass window. Great set. Merry Christmas!!
Great finds my friend. Love that door shot with the blues and greens. DaiseyMae and Princess P are of like mind and poses.
Your interpretation of half is very clever-and sorry to let you know, but I nailed that "what is it" right away. Must be the real estate thing. Such a pretty shape.
Happy day. Go Packers and Pats too.
I absolutely love love love love love love LOVE "half".
Love your set this week. Great what is it and fur baby.

I thought it might be a stair rail! Those windows are so pretty! And just in love with that half!
Great shots - love the stained glass in Joy!
That last one is zen for sure- so calming. I could stare at it all day.
I didn't know exactly what what is it is, but I knew it wasn't a handle. It's my fav of the hunt today. The shape, color, texture. Although the zen half is ultra... well... zen. And I like that. A lot.
Love the zen photo! I've only had a couple of nasty comments, none from you know who. Really who would post a negative comment anyway do 'they' think we are nutz?
Copied the list, going to take a look see at the link.
Going to add to my veggie soup for lunch and do some chores...
Thanks for your cheer!
