Never saw such cheerily colored milk cans before. I'm guessing the farmer must have sold them (or else was experimenting with LSD?!).hehe. Great ShadowShot!

These milk cans look so dented and old in shape, with rust underneath. Yet the sky blue hue that covers them are cheery, and add a bit of life to the old jugs. A bit of patina that gives them originality. The rusty truck looks old - perhaps the starter gives it a shot at continuing its useful life. Or perhaps not. The useful items of the past make for unique art in any case!

Happy July 4!

I really like this photo Becky, but I don't understand this 'river of stones' project. Must be too abstract for my thinking. :)

Oh, milk cans, how wonderful. I remember my parents hauling water in milk cans because our well was too far from our house. We kids could go down the hill to get water in old 1-gallon rootbeer jugs.

Terrific, colorful old milk cans and what a wonderful shadow shot for the day! Isn't it wonderful to just happen across shots like these? It's definitely one of the reasons I just make sure that my camera is always with me! Hope you have a July 4th holiday!

The turquoise blues are so vibrant and sing of the refreshing milk they used to hold.

Wonderful, artistic photograph.

I arrived on your blog via Cococita, who's a friend of mine and whose blog I read. I think she's absolutely right - you have an amazing photographic eye and show colour in a really powerful way in your photographs!
Do you have a Flickr account? I couldn't find a link to it on the blog... Hope you do, would love to see more of your work!
