There is so much "goodness" in this photo! Good reflections, good shadows, good colors--oh, my!

WONDERING WHY

Said Shadow, “I do wonder why,
When there is no sun in the sky,
I must disappear;
I’d like to stay here
And never again say good-bye!”

I really like the shadows that are created by the trellis by the roof. The vertical shadow lines I liken to the rungs of a ladder. Not up against the building for the high (climbing) or low (descending), but placed horizontally. Therefore, our moves are constant, allowing us to move along sideways, not up or down but living our life and moving constantly one way. Wonderfully captured!

Yes this is a great capture, I love the contrasting shadows, and the reflection of the sky. Have a great week Miss Becky.

Great shot, I had to look at it for a minute or two to tell which was real and which were shadows.

So many contrasts here...air, wood, stone and sharp angles with beautiful floaty clouds and delecate branches. It fits neatly with your quote skillfully captured :)

What an interesting collection of textures all in one shot...but then again, you have a quick eye for beauty...and the blue sky reflection proves it...LUV IT!!!

Guess what, I finally got to the post office this mornin...so your soap is one it's way...WOOHOO!!!

And yes, I was purdy sick of the music too, I'm gonna go back tonight and get some more newbies. Thanks again for the soap purchase, yer gonna LUV IT!!!

Can I triple like this one? Hard to tell what's real and what's reflection. Very cool with all those lines. I too love the blue and orange. Wow. Great one Miss Becky.
Hope you're having a great weekend.

A fantastic photo, you have captured the shadows here over and over. I really had to look hard at this one to see just what it was that i was seeing ;-)

This almost looks like an abstract. Love the framing and the repetition of rectangles, and the juxtaposition of solid brick and soft clouds. Nice!

Splat!

...Doh! That didn't work. I'll try again later :)

Wow...the shadow and the quote go nicely together. I'm not quite sure what I'm looking at...having a hard time seeing what might be the bigger picture and what is casting the shadows. Wonderful...interesting!

Stunning shot, Becky! And I love the quote. Thanks for your nice comment - it's one of the most personally meaningful I've ever gotten. I'm so, so glad you think of TPS as a refuge. Your rock my world!

That is a very cool photo. The shadows are great, but the texture of the wood is worthy of a close look too. Good stuff

Peace.

Geeze, Becky, You have outdone yourself this week. This reflection is superb. I just love the tonal qualities of this shot. The blue is out of this world against the brick red color and the orange. You pulled this one off at 150 % great! Check you email....and thanks for all the encouragement with my PSE9 class. I am doing both the Mini and the Essentials...think I already told you that. Kim is a fabulous teacher, but it is the most intense class I think I have taken in 40 years. G

Hi Becky..thank you for stopping by.. I like the shadows and the pretty sky. It is so cold here near Buffalo NY that it seems so much more like winter...but spring is making some progress through the snow... Michelle
