138/365 Shadow Shot Sunday

we've gotten two days in a row of sunshine!  the snow that was forecast for late yesterday fizzled out and I'm not sad about that.

to participate or see shadows from around the world, visit Tracy at Hey Harriet.  thanks for hosting Tracy.

Yay for sun. I have some today too.
Nicely framed shot. I love the touch of blue you left along the top. Cool how the tree surrounds the interesting window.
Have a great weekend.

I like the contrast between the stark, white wall and the dark, foreboding shadow.

IF YOU SEE A SHADOW

If you see a shadow
And want to keep it near,
Point your trusty shooter
(Make sure the lens is clear);
Press with care the shutter,
Do not slam or sock it—
Then you’ll have a photo
To carry in your pocket!

Beautiful one!

The sun is a relief to us tired of the massive January snow and cold (more of a Great Lakes that winter we're not used to :). The building doesn't have to be stylish, a sun and tree adds a shadow of style to the commonplace. A nice picture!

It must be nice to get some sunshine. Your shadow shot is a lot like mine but I get a bit more sun in my part of the country and when the sun doesn't shine it is fog, not snow.

Becky,
you captured a wonderful shot of the shade behind the tree.
What I question is, why we haven't had any SUN?
NONE.. NONE..
I feel like getting on the plane.. and off I go.. but I can't..:-(
lol..
Keep on keeping on Becky and so nice to be here once again.
love you.. ♥

Dramatic! Love the blue, so intense. and the shadow looks like it's reaching out, like in a threatening dream.

I look forward to reading your book review of Bold Spirit, it looks interesting. (I'm going to have a look at the book club link now) have a lovely relaxing weekend Becky.

Happy Saturday Night, my friend....This shot with the reflection of the tree limbs on the stark white building is really impressive. It sort of knocked my socks off when I first looked at it. I like it lots. Have had 3 days OFF from school so have been plugging away with PSE9. Boy, is it a slow ad harsh process. Need to send you some more stuff I found searching the internet.

hi there friend Becky,

we had sunshine this morning too and I can't stop from taking photos with my phone. I even took some video of my late afternoon on the way to getting ice cream, I really was craving for one since yesterday.

Tonight I use my digital cam and I can't believe how I missed it.

How are you doing? It's been a week since I my last post and visit to my favourite blogs. I told you that sometimes I feel like just blurking. Not to mention that I am still overwhelm with coming back to school.

I hope you are doing great.

xoxo,
your friend, Annalyn :)

This is a super shot.
We don't get snow, but it has been a chilly 22 Celsius here for ages. I'm frozen.

Have a nice day, Boonie
